Adipex-P

Adipex (phentermine) is an anti-obesity agent used for the treatment of obesity in patients that need additional help fighting their food cravings. You will need to combine this medication with regular exercise and a healthier diet, as this is the only way to benefit from your treatment. Never take Adipex if you have recently (within the past 2 weeks) taken a MAO inhibitor, such as tranylcypromine, isocarboxazid, selegiline, phenelzine, or rasagiline. Any other meds are also supposed to be reported to your doctor, especially desipramine, high blood pressure medications, clomipramine, paroxetine, amoxapine, citalopram, nortriptyline, escitalopram, oral insulin or diabetes medications, protriptyline, sertraline, fluvoxamine, doxepin, imipramine, fluoxetine, trimipramine, or amitriptyline. Some of the mild side effects you are likely to experience include: constipation, vomiting, dry mouth, diarrhea, or unpleasant taste in the mouth. There is no need to call your health care provider about the side effects listed, as in most cases they go away on their own. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, all the risks and benefits of your treatment are supposed to be discussed with your doctor in advance.
